Either you love her or you hate her, Taylor Swift has been popular amongst many different age groups ever since her first album dropped in 2006. As a fan myself, it's so hard to pick just one favorite song let alone one favorite album. I made up a short list of her songs that every 20-something-year-old needs to have on their playlist today.

1. New Romantics - 1989, 2014

Because "the best people in life are FREE" and you should never have to beg for anyone's attention at this point in our lives. There are so many better things and people out there for us. This is the time to be making new friends. Don't be afraid to lose touch with old friends if they hinder your growth.

2. 22 - Red, 2012

"Just keep DANCING" the negativity away and look out for yourself during these years. They are all about finding yourself and having fun along the way.

3. Starlight - Red, 2012

It's important to remember to take a step back and not be afraid to pursue your dreams no matter how big they might seem. "Don’t you DREAM impossible things".

4. Style - 1989, 2014

There will always be that one person who keeps coming back into your life. Each time you think that they will change, and you know how it will go every time and take the risk because "we never go out of STYLE".

5. Girl At Home - Red, 2012

We will all come across some boy who will come and complain to you about his relationship all the time. Or worse, you will meet someone who pretends that they aren't in a relationship and look to you instead. It's important to stand your ground and no be the "dumb blonde" he makes you out to be. "So don't look at me you got a girl at home and EVERYBODY knows that".

6. Bad Blood - 1989, 2014

Not everyone is going to like you and that's okay. You're going to get hurt by the people you thought would never hurt you. Like I said before, you are going to lose people in your 20s but it will be for the better. We all need a song that sounds and makes us feel bad ass. "So take a look at what YOU'VE done"

7. State of Grace - Red, 2012

This is one of my favorites because it creates a soft image of falling for someone completely different from what you normally fall for. You'll meet tons of new and different people in your 20s. It gives you a new appreciation for these types of people because you will learn so much from them no matter what type of relationship you have with them. It gives you a newfound faith that "this is the WORTHWHILE fight".

8. Blank Space - 1989, 2014

At this point, many us are over the games and we will be straight up about what we expect from a relationship. We are confident in our selves, we have learned from our past mistakes, and we aren't afraid to admit that we aren't perfect. It's perfectly acceptable to be constantly changing your mind about things and what you want. So hey, we are only young once right? So "find out what you WANT, be that girl for a month".

9. Change - Fearless, 2008

Because no matter what is going on in your life at one given moment, know that it is temporary and that "these things will CHANGE".

10. Shake It Off - 1989, 2014

At the end of the day, always remember "you've got to SHAKE it off".

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
