Superhero movies have probably never been more popular than they are today. You'd be hard-pressed to come across a person who hasn’t at least heard of the name Batman, Superman, Iron Man, or Captain America. However, there is a plethora of superheroes you've probably never heard about. Here are 10 obscure superheroes you may never have heard of, and have never made their debut in film.

1) Spectre

Think Danny Phantom, except scarier and more villainous. Spectre is a character that can fly like a ghost, and change time and space. Also, he's immortal. Why Spectre hasn't appeared in a superhero film is beyond me.

2) The Question

He's a bit like a mix of Rorschach, Sherlock Holmes, and any character from Mortal Combat. The Question is a faceless detective with super-intelligence and martial arts skills.

3) Squirrel Girl

Okay, this character's probably exactly what you're thinking. Squirrel Girl has a squirrel-like tail, claws, and speaks squirrel language. Oh, and she also carries around a sack of nuts to feed squirrels...a nut sack...and that's not even a joke.

4) Sasquatch

So, I know that the Hulk is a pretty awesome character, but Sasquatch's love of the Hulk went a little too far. In an attempt to become like the Hulk, this hero exposes himself to gamma radiation. Instead of turning into the Hulk, however, he turns into a Sasquatch. That's pretty cool and yet really sad all at the same time.

5) Moon Knight

Who cares that Spiderman got his powers from a stupid spider bite? Moon Knight got his from the Egyptian moon god! He's a boxer and marine turned superhero bad-ass, bearing the powers of being psychic and super-strength. Oh, and his powers increase during certain phases of the moon. Top that, Spiderman!

6) Catman

No, this is not the goofy, do-nothing Catman from "Fairly OddParents" -- although, he's still a bit of a rip-off of Batman. Catman's unique because of his ability to track down his enemies. Oh, and also, he's got an exceptional sense of smell. (Meow!)

7) Black Canary

So you've probably heard of Catwoman. Black Canary's similar in that she can kick butt with her martial arts skills. However, Black Canary has also got her signature Canary Cry, a supersonic, banshee-like cry that she uses against her enemies.

8) Martian Manhunter

Martian Manhunter's a pretty bad-ass version of E.T. He's an alien of sorts the powers of super-strength, flight, shapeshifting, and telepathy. It's surprising that he hasn't made his debut in film yet, seeing as though he is integral to the success of the "Justice League." His telepathic abilities help the "Justice League" stay on the same page in battle.

9) Namor the Submariner

Before there was Aquaman, there was Namor. He's got pretty much the powers of Aquaman -- he lives in the ocean and commands the power of sea creatures -- but he's also got the power of flight, thanks to wings that are attached to his ankles. Another fun tidbit is that he's considered the first mutant introduced in the Marvel universe.

10) Iron Fist

Last but not least is Iron Fist. Iron Fist can concentrate his energy, his chi, into his fists. And let's just say he packs a punch. In addition to his incredible combat skills, he can fuse his consciousness with other characters in a way that other superheroes can't.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
