1. Enchanted Rock

Camp or hike at Enchanted Rock and then go check out the quaint town Fredericksburg near by.

2. Float the river in San Marcos


One of Central Texans' favorite summer activities is floating the Guadalupe River.

3. Cool off at Hamilton Pool

Hamilton Pool is one of the most beautiful natural pools in Texas and is the perfect spot to cool off in the summer heat.

4. Natural Bridge Caverns

Check out the beautiful natural cave formations.

5. Gruene Hall

Dance your heart out and listen to live music at this old fashion Texas dance hall.

6. Real Ale Brewery

If you're 21 or older check out the free tours at Real Ale Brewing Co in Blanco, Texas. Try craft beers and see how they're made!

Or if you're in the mood for something a little classier, try wine tasting at Becker Vineyard.

8. Barton Springs

An Austin landmark, Barton Springs is the perfect place to cool off during the summer.

9. Jacob's Well

Jacob's Well is another of Texas's many natural water features located in Wimberly.

A fun way to explore the many historical missions in the San Antonio area.
