It's the worst type of morning.

There is nothing worse than an 8 A.M. class. Trust me, waking up at 7 A.M. to go to a two-hour lecture is THE WORST. No matter the day or weather, the routine in the morning is no different. Starting with the dreadful noise of the alarm clock to debating whether or not you look homeless or even if getting a degree is worth it? Psh, who needs school anyway?

1. "Why in the world did I ever choose an 8 A.M.?"

I literally do this to myself every semester. I just can never learn my lesson.

2. "When is the deadline to drop this class?"

What is Philosophy anyway? Do I actually really need it?

3. Checking the syllabus for the class attendance policy.

I don't think one more class will really hurt that much, hopefully.

4. Realizing you have already missed four classes.

You know it's real when your friend says, "You're really missing again?"

5. "Alright, I won't wear any makeup so I can sleep for 10 more minutes."

It's no fashion show; no one wears it anyway.

6. "I should really leave now if I want Dunkin."

It's not a want, it's a necessity.

7. Showing up to your 8 A.M. and realizing it was a mistake.

"I could have easily learned all this from reading it out of the book."

8. When you're only halfway done class and your stomach is growling like you haven't eaten in days.

I knew I should have grabbed that granola bar.

9. Leaving class and thinking, "Wow I'm such a great student".

Even though I contemplated leaving a good 30 times, my mom should be so proud.

10. Realizing how grateful you are that you are done so early.

It's only 10 A.M. I can go back to bed without feeling super lazy!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

The Importance Of Being A Good Person

An open letter to the good-hearted people.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
