So every year I struggle to find fun stuff to do in the summer, I get super bored of doing the same old same old. o if you're like me trying to figure out something new to do this summer read on!

1. Go To The Boardwalk/Beach- Various Locations.

Who doesn't love a day trip to the beach that ends with walking on the boards for the night. Get some ice cream, and go on some rides. You could even make a weekend out of it if you want to get a hotel room.

2. The Adventure Aquarium- Camden.

I can not name a single person that I know that doesn't like the aquarium. Personally my favorite part is the jellyfish, I can spend hours there. The aquarium has special deals if you go with groups or memberships that start at $32 if you plan on going more than once.

3. Whale Watching- Cape May.

Have you ever seen a whale or a dolphin? Nows your chance! In Cape May there are cruise lines that are specifically there to give tours to the popular locations of these animals.

4. Go To An Outdoor Farmers Market- Various Locations.

There's farmers markets in Philly yes, but theres also farmers markets here in good old NJ, the most popular ones are Columbus and Cowtown.

5. Historic Smithville- Smithville.

A cute little town lined with shops and eateries of every kind. You can walk from the soap store to ice cream to a bookstore. They have everything you can imagine in this cute little town.

6. Ripley’s Believe It Or Not- Atlantic City.

Can you fold you tongue in half like a hamburger bun? Have you seen a shrunken head before? Nows your chance to see if you can do both!

7. Go To A Concert- Various Locations.

Dying to see your favorite band or just wanting to get of of the house for an evening? Why not go to an outdoor concert. The prices and places vary by your location, but often times there are free beach concerts in the summers, and at venues often times you can get lawn tickets for $20.

8. Haunted Ghost Tour- Cape May.

Love being scared but don’t want to wait until October? Ghost tours are available in haunted Cape May all the time!

9. Drive In Movie- Vineland.

The Delsea drive in theater has a variety of in theater movies that you can watch from the comfort of your own car.

10. Go Karting- Millville.

Every Thursday the track offers $20 go karting experiences. So why not have a little fun and try your hand at something different?

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
