Whether you are getting ready for a night out with your girls, or just simply need a good pick-me-up, these songs will do the trick.

Every girl needs those songs to remind them that they are in-fact that bitch at times. Sometimes someone or something throws us off and we forget our worth. The fun thing about being a girl is that we have an infinite amount of songs and playlists that tell us how powerful and amazing we are, but we have to find those specific songs that we can actually relate to without it being cheesy.

I'm not quite sure why girls like to blare music while getting ready, but it really does make the whole process of getting ready that much better. There's this theory that girls take so long to get ready because of the issue of dancing to the music instead of beating your face with makeup. Maybe its true, but either way it's enjoyable and makes the "long" process that much more bearable.

1. Truth Hurts- Lizzo

The ultimate girl anthem. BOY BYE!

2. Blame It On Your Love- Charlie XCX (Feat. Lizzo)

A song for blaming boys for everything.

3. Doin' Time- Lana Del Rey

A groovy, summer song. Typical Lana.

4. Go To Town- Doja Cat

That fun, risky song you'll hear at every party this summer.

5. Good As Hell- Lizzo

A song you should listen to after getting ready, or whenever you feel good AF in general.

6. Suffer- Petit Biscuit, Skott

A song that you'll want to blare in your car with your homies.

7. Juicy Fruit- Sizzy Rocket

A fun, girly summer song that'll make you feel good.

8. Karaoke- Big Freedia (Feat. Lizzo)

A song that will instantly make you want to dance.

9. Everybody Wants To Be Famous- Superorganism

Another chill song that would be PERFECT to listen to on the beach.

10. I Wish I Missed My Ex- Mahalia

And finally, a song that will remind you that you don't need no man.

All of these songs hit almost every emotion that girls will feel this summer. Each song is different in their own way and can range from super chill to super hype. It's crazy how fast a summer can go by, but so many things can happen within these months. So many moments you'll want to remember and by listening to these songs, you'll most definitely never forget how these songs made you feel in that tiny moment.

Music is such a powerful thing and these songs definitely need to be on everyone's playlist this summer.

With that being said, these songs can tell you who you are and remind you of who you want to be, but dont let music be the one to tell you that. Just know that you already are that person.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
