Many say that a dog is a man's best friend. Dogs are also women's best friends too in many cases. I have been blessed with my dog and also other dogs that have come into my life as well. I think it is safe to say that we as people can become quite obsessed with these furry friends of ours. Here are signs you are obsessed with dogs and your dog:

1. You FaceTime your dog when you are away from them.

I am away at college in Muncie and my dog Dolly is two hours away from me and I miss her like crazy, so I FaceTime her. We all know what it is like being away from our dogs, they are family. We do not just FaceTime humans, we FaceTime our animals too.

2. You take a TON of selfies with them or just take pictures of them in general.

I take a lot of pictures with my dog whenever I have the chance. She probably is always like, "When is this human going to stop?" You take pictures with them and/or of them whenever you are around them.

3. You let them be in your senior pictures.

I TOTALLY had my dog in my senior pictures with me. I got these done in 2014 and I will never forget them. She did such a wonderful job! You always have to have your dog in pictures with you no matter where or no matter what.

4. Even if they steal ALL of your blankets, you still love them.

My dog ALWAYS steals my blankets whenever, wherever. She now has probably about five of my blankets hostage and I have not got them back since. But when this happens, we cannot help but to love them even more.

5. Your friend's dogs, become your dog too.

I have gotten the privilege of meeting Nymmy. Even though she is not my dog and I am not her owner, it feels like she is mine.

6. You go to places where they have dogs and never want to leave and just adopt every single one of them.

My boyfriend and I went to Uncle Bill's and I felt excitement come over me. I wanted to take every single dog home with me and have a ranch with 200+ dogs.

7. You constantly act like a proud Mom and show off pictures of your dog to everyone.

When you do not have a kid, you are bound to show off your dog to everyone you meet. Even when someone mentions they have a dog, you instantly get your phone out and show them pictures of your dog.

8. When you see someone walking their dog, you just HAVE to go up and ask them if you can pet their dog.

Every time you see someone walking their dog, you ALWAYS have to go up to them and ask them if you can pet their dog. It's part of your life.

9. Dog Memes are YOUR LIFE.

You literally have pages that you like on Facebook specializing in dog memes. You have a ton of them saved on your phone.

10. You are obsessed with "Dog-Posals"

By now you have probably seen a dozen videos of boyfriends proposing to their girlfriends with a puppy. To us girls that are obsessed with dogs, THIS IS PROPOSAL GOLD. Take notes, guys!

Dogs are always there for us. Whenever we just need a cuddle or two, they are there. Whenever we need someone to vent to, they are there to listen (even though they will not talk back to you). Dogs are amazing creatures who give us unconditional love. Be thankful for your dog and other dogs. They just want to be loved just like we do.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
