It continues to rapidly grow and its population is predicted to gain at least 2.5 million more people by 2040. While all this attention is great for the city, here are 10 things that only people from Atlanta understand. And it can't hurt for the people moving there to know these, as well.

1. Whenever there is snow, the city can’t hang.

Atlanta “snowpocalypse” 2014.

2. Chick-Fil-A and Zaxby’s are five-star restaurants.

3. In all honestly, you probably didn’t grow up in the city, but in the suburb areas that surround it.

People who grew up in Dunwoody, Sandy Springs, Alpharetta, Norcross, you just say you’re from Atlanta to make people think you're cool.

4. You have a love/hate relationship with our professional sports teams.

5. You know that 95.5 The Beat was the most fire radio station, and you’ll never understand why it was cancelled.

6. It is on the way to becoming the next Hollywood.

7. We have the most dope hip-hop artists.

For those who love Future, you should know he loves cheesecake. Waka Flocka Flame, one nation under squad.

8. Your response if someone says they prefer Pepsi over Coca-Cola.

9. Your mood when sitting in Atlanta traffic.

10. You have no problem saying we have the world’s busiest airport until you have to go through it.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
