*I know none of this from personal experience.*
1. You have your credit card number memorized.
When you’re constantly entering that thing into online websites, eventually you might be able to type it in without having to look at the card.
2. Websites remember your credit card, billing address, and shipping address.
Chances are, if you don’t have to update card information or shipping information, you might shop on that website too often.
3. There is always a package slip in your dorm mailbox…and your roommate knows it isn’t hers.
Coming home from class and seeing that package slip laying on your desk has to be one of the best surprises ever!
4. You’re tracking the location of your package daily until it comes.
Chances are, you know exactly where your package is and can guess whether it will arrive early or not.
5. You know what time the mail gets in and check the mail exactly at that time.
Sometimes the anticipation is just too much and you need to rip open the package the second it arrives!
6. Buying things makes you happy.
If ordering things online/receiving them in the mail makes you feel happy, there could be a problem.
7. You can walk into a store, and just look around and feel happier.
At least you didn’t buy anything, right?
8. You are a pro bargain-finder.
If you’re going to shop all the time, you might as well find great deals.
9. Checking your bank account makes you cringe.
Maybe if I don’t look, it won’t be so bad?
10. When someone asks if something is new, you have the same response.
“Oh, I’ve had this awhile.”
So maybe you’re an online shopaholic, but there are worse things after all, right? All of us shopaholics can band together and tell ourselves, “we’re just helping fuel the economy” and enjoy our online finds.
