10 Signs Of Dance Withdrawals

When it comes to college dancers have a choice. To dance or not to dance. I made the hard decision to not dance ,but there isn't a day that goes by that I don't miss it. So for all my fellow ex-dancers look out for these withdrawal symptoms and be sure to find a studio near you.

1. You take any chance you get to mention your winning competition record from high school.

2. When your friends say "dance party" you hear "break out old dance routines."

3. Instead of studying you YouTube yourself to watch your past self slay on stage.

4. Sometimes you try on old costumes to make sure you still look cute in them.

5. You take a dance class but shortly realize this isn't anything like it is back home.

6. You judge the dance team because you know you should've tried out.

7. You spend your time showing your friends all your old dance pictures, even though they don't care.

8. You get into fights with other ex-dancers on your hall on who did it best.

9. You try to "improv" in your room but it turns out looking like the struggle because you have no space.

10. The first thing you do when you get home is get in the studio and get back to what you love.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
