10 Reasons Why You'll Never Forget Vacation With Your BFF

Let's be honest, not much can top vacation. Sightseeing, tours, relaxing on the beach, fruity drinks, tanning, family time, and no work--vacation is the best! The only thing better than a family vacation is going on one with your best friend! It's fun to escape somewhere and get one-on-one time with your bestie and to make memories you'll never forget. This summer I got to go to Sarasota, Fl with my best friend. Here's the top reasons you'll never forget a trip with the BFF:

1. You get to know your bestie even better.

Even though we all think we know everything about our best friends, there are always things you learn when you live with them. Whether they're neat or messy, if they like family time or alone time, if they're a cover-stealer or bed hog, and maybe even the fact that they don't mind sand in their bed. Whatever it is, vacation really bonds you with your friend and brings you closer.

2. Bonding with their fam.

Meeting the family as a best friend is way more important than if you were the boyfriend. Boys are temporary, but besties are forever! I absolutely loved getting to know the fam and seeing why bestie is the way she is (which for the record is crazy).

3. Crazy stories!!

Every vacation comes with at least one crazy story. The good thing about having a friend is that they'll almost always be ready to back you up when you're telling the story. This year we were about five feet away from a hammerhead shark. Don't believe me? Ask Leah!

4. Adventure

Don't like climbing up rock structures into the ocean like we did? That's okay because there's always an adventure to be had and doing it with your best friend just makes it that much more enjoyable.

5. Conquering fears with friends is easier.

Hopefully your fear of planes is not as severe as mine, but we all have fears and trying to conquer that while on vacation with you best pal is definitely the time to do it!

6. Endless photoshoot

Sorry boys, but us girls love our photo shoots. So thankful to have someone to take endless pictures with me and to help think of creative captions for the gram.

7. Seeing new things

Okay, did anyone notice this restaurant is actually called 420? Anyways, going with a friend can always take you to new places and allow you to explore new things you've never seen, eaten, and tried before.

8. Making new friends

Who knew that your bestie has other friends?? It's fun to meet new people and make friends with the family.

9. Someone who likes the same things as you.

Your best friend is the "best" for a reason. Most likely you guys share a lot in common including hobbies and interests. Leah and I love to kick back and read a book while soaking up the sun.

10. Endless Memories were made.

Going on a trip like this is something you'll never forget. The amount of memories that come with this are endless and truly something special.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
