Pinterest is a fairly well-known social media app, but many people tend to download it and never look at it again. I, however, couldn't live without it.

It cures my boredom, it sparks my creativity and gives me ideas I never thought would be possible. I honestly don't know how I could live without it. It has saved my butt countless times, whether it be a last minute gift idea, unique art canvases, or just even giving tips on life. It's a magical, glorious world of daily inspiration in which I can share with others. Without further ado, I present to you, Queen Pinterest.

1. It gives me the most creative ideas.

DIY aquarium in a jar? Check. Organization system made from mason jars? Check? Shrinky dinks made from your own home? Check.

2. I can never run out of food recipes.

In fact, it almost seems like I may have TOO much food... and I really don't know what to do with it. Whatever, I guess I'll make some more...!

3. It gives me life-saving tips for my future career.

Going to be a teacher? Here are 10 useful ways to engage your students. Accountant? Here's a list of creative ways to sort and file your receipts. How about a social worker? Here is a list of tips to be effective in your sessions.

4. I never have to do the same workout every day.

I honestly don't think I could go for a run every day. Pinterest saves me with the fact that I could probably have a different workout each day for five years. It's THAT big of a creative world. I guess I won't have to go for a painfully long run every single day!

5. It gives me must-use life hacks.

You honestly never know you will need these until something comes up. They may be stupid, but they work, right?

6. It gives me daily inspiration.

Honestly, I never would have found this if it wasn't for Pinterest. It does a much better job inspiring me than most others, tbh.

7. It allows me to bust out my creativity.

Whether it be planning arts and crafts for children, or painting beautiful canvases for a friend, Pinterest definitely has you covered. You can honestly never run out of ideas, and the possibilities are endless. It makes me feel like a true artist.

8. It gives me endless possibilities to cure my boredom.

Pinterest is more than you think it is. It is IMPOSSIBLE for one to view every single list out there, which means that you can spend hours upon hours looking for inspiration or tips. It basically cures my boredom.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
