10 Reasons Why Dogs Are Better Than Humans
Pixar Wiki

Have you ever gone a day where you say to either yourself or the people you work with, "wow I just really hate people!!"?? Well! You're not alone! Sometimes people just suck. You know who doesn't? Dogs. Dogs are such sweetie pies and they are full of love! If you don't have a dog for a friend (I can't bring myself to call them pets...they're people ok! Just furry) then I feel bad for you son, I got 99 problems but not having a dog ain't one. Having a dog in your life makes almost anything better. I strongly believe that dogs are a gift from God and sometimes we are so undeserving of these sweet, tender, loving beings. I came up with some reasons why dogs are better than humans and why we need to be more like dogs. And if you aren't a dog person, I hope this list will change your mind.

1.Great listeners:

They’re basically your BFF, and when you tell them secrets, they keep them! They can’t run around telling everyone your secrets.

2. Who needs a boyfriend when you have a dog?:

You can get all the hugs and kisses from your furry companion, and snuggles. SO MANY SNUGGLES. And you don’t have to worry about them breaking up with you.

3. They’re loyal:

Once you take a dog into your home and make them a part of your family, and life, they take pride in that. They think their job is to protect you, and be the best friend that they can be to you.

4. Always down for adventures:

Live in a place where hikes are an all day everyday thing to do? Take your dog with you! They love exploring almost as much as we do, maybe even more. Take them out, let them see the world! Plus they get to hang out with you, and they love that.

5. Puppies > babies:

I think we can all agree that babies are cute and all, but puppies. You can’t tell me your heart doesn’t melt when you see a puppy. I mean congrats on your baby, but look at my dog!

6. They’re the least judgmental:

They could care less about the color of your skin, how old you are, what gender you are, or your sexual orientation. JUST LET THEM LOVE YOU! That’s all they want to do.

7. Great for emotional support:

Ever hear about “companion pets”? In most mental illness cases, patients are literally prescribed an emotional support pet (usually dogs...sometimes kitties too). Ever seen a guide dog? Dogs are even used to find cancer. Yeah, CANCER. Meaning they’re so intelligent, they can find what a machine can’t.

8. They’re always happy to see you!:

Dogs look forward to seeing their humans. There’s never a time where they aren’t wagging their tails in excitement when you walk through the door after work.

9. Dogs are incredibly selfless:

It’s almost like they don’t know how to be selfish. Dogs live for their owners, and will do anything for them.

10. Ever seen a dog as the villain in a movie?:

Me neither. I’ll just let that speak for itself.

Let’s all take a step back and learn a thing or 10 from dogs.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
