After attending a concert this past Sunday, I was reminded again of why I am in love with going to concerts and hearing (and seeing) my favorite artists perform.
1. Seeing your favorite band live.
Whether it's your first or your tenth time seeing them, you will still be excited, and each time is a different experience that you'll never forget.
2. Singing along with a bunch of strangers who love the same music you do.
Nothing is better than an entire arena of people singing along to the lyrics and knowing that you're all here for one reason: the music.
3. Dancing like crazy and not being judged for it.
It's a great feeling being able to dance along and knowing that everyone around you is doing the same.
4. The production and seeing how amazing the set and lights look.
Everything from fire, lights, confetti, and even foam (and yes I've seen them all,) is what makes the concert that much more fun to be at.
5. Knowing that your favorite band is standing right in front of you.
Yes, they are real, and they are much better looking in person.
6. Being able to escape from reality for a few hours and only focusing on the music.
Whenever life gets tough, listen to some music, and I can promise that you will feel a lot better.
7. When the artist stops singing, and the crowd takes over and sings the lyrics.
Seeing the artists face light up when they hear you singing along to their music is one of my favorite moments at concerts.
8. Hearing a guitar or drum solo and being amazed at how good it is.
Some band members don't receive the attention they deserve as much as others, so it's nice to see the crowd screaming for them when they tear up that solo.
9. The suspense before the show.
Nothing is better then when the lights start to dim and everyone starts screaming when the band arrives on stage.
10. All of the sweat you've produced from rocking out so hard.
I, for one, hate sweating because it ruins my hair and makeup, but you know you had a great time when you look absolutely horrible after the concert is over.
