10 Reasons Why Moving Really Sucks

Recently, I got the chance to move into a new apartment, which was an exciting opportunity (as it should be). I was super pumped about it...until I actually started the moving process.

1. You don't realize how much stuff you actually have until you start packing everything, so you literally just want to avoid the process.

2. You don't have enough boxes and storage bins (I actually dumped some of my already packed belongings onto the floor and used the empty storage bins to get even more stuff).

3. You run into the most random items and start reminiscing.

4. The new place doesn't have enough space to fit everything you own, and neither does your car (insert crying emoji here).

5. Your friends offer to help, but if they do, you won't know where anything is. Also, they're not the most careful people.

6. You have to clean the old place, like REALLY clean.

7. You're angry because your room was never as clean as you're leaving it now.

8. Talk about back pain.

9. You have to tell people where your new apartment is because they don't know where you live now.

10. Settling into the new place always feels awkward for the first couple of days because you're so used to the order you had at your old apartment.

Despite the trials and tribulations of moving, there is one positive thing to look forward to: redecorating!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
