10 Reasons To Love Steve Carell
Telegraph

People go crazy for the good looking stars like Ryan Reynolds, Adam Levine, and whoever else is shirtless on TV, but the real heroes are the guys like Steve Carell. Not only do his co-stars speak highly of him, he just seems like a good dude who happens to be an actor in some amazing shows and movies. There is absolute proof that he deserves the awards and respect that other high profile actors get, and it's time we all recognize it.

1. Everything he did as Michael Scott.

Steve made a guy who should have been entirely unlikeable one of the funniest characters on TV. Along with his hilarious scenes in the show, he was able to make us love Michael, and possibly tear up a little bit when he left the show. Sorry, spoiler alert.

2. He was able to stand out in a movie also starring Christian Bale, Ryan Gosling, and Brad Pitt.

Not only did he bring his usual funny persona to the character Mark Baum, but he also brought a guy with some serious character flaws to life in a relatable and human way.

3. His part in Crazy Stupid Love

Not only did he make us love him, but he did so in a way that made him seem like a real guy that we could really root for.

4. Gru and his minions

Not only is he the voice for Gru in Despicable Me with a great accent, but he dressed up as Gru when he appeared on Ellen. It doesn't get much better than that.

5. He and his wife are stupidly cute

Together, they even wrote a show together called "Angie Tribeca". In interviews about it, they die laughing at each other and actually look like they enjoy each other's presence which does not seem to always be the case with actors.

6. He somehow acted like the perfect jerk in the movie The Way Way Back.

Even after loving him in "The Office" for years, we were able to hate him so much in this movie.

7. Brick Tamland

He is absolutely one of the funniest characters of the Anchorman movies as Brick.

8. We love how dynamic he is as an actor

He can make movies like Little Miss Sunshine where he is believable as a suicidal college professor, but then also convince us that he's 40 year old virgin.

9. Master Improviser

Not only does he star in all these movies and prove that his acting career will be a long and successful one, but he also writes and improvises tons of his lines and characters.

10. His twitter is amazing.

If you need more reasons to see that Steve Carell deserves your love, watch any of his movies especially Dan in Real Life or just watch a few interviews with him on Ellen (who is also an amazing human but that's for another time). Instead of obsessing over attractive dudes with no talent, it's time that guys like Steve get the recognition they deserve. Peace, love and Steve Carell.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
