" Gilmore Girls" has been a huge TV hit throughout my years growing up, and I've always enjoyed watching episodes here and there. This past summer, my best friend Erin created a Netflix monster out of me and I ended up binge-watching the entire series from start to finish in a short matter of time. For us millennials and even older, I'd classify "Gilmore Girls" success on the level of such popular shows like "The Walking Dead," "Grey's Anatomy," and "Pretty Little Liars." That being said, click here for a brief summary of the show in the event you'd like to start watching now.
Here's why i'm absolutely STOKED for the revival:
1. I'm curious to see who Rory will end up with
Throughout the series, Rory is linked to Dean, her first love and new guy in town; Jess, the misunderstood/bad boy with a big heart that some of us love to hate; and Logan, the sometimes foolish blonde Yale boy. Personally, I'm #TeamJess but I can't really state why without giving spoilers. Or who knows? Maybe Rory will meet someone new or lead the single-independent woman lifestyle.

2. I want to know what kind of awesomeness Rory is up to
I, and am sure others, have always admired Rory for her take-charge attitude; she's truly a woman on a mission everywhere she goes! Take for example her time at the Yale newspaper--she reached editor position at one point! Or how she's willing to help out her friends (remember that episode where she and Paris stood out in the freezing cold for charity?). Or even how she's quick to speak up like when her grandparents make plans and arrangements for her that she doesn't agree with. And lastly, you have to be pretty strong to turn down charming and dangerous Preston (Chad Michael Murray); I mean, come on.
3. Sookie
It took me a while to realize that "Sookie" is played by Melissa McCarthy; I've loved her recent comedies, so it's 10 times funnier to see her portray Sookie on "Gilmore Girls."
4. Lane (Rory's long-time friend) and her babies
What will the twins be like now? Will they be super into music like Lane? Will they even be mentioned on the revival?
5. Lorelai's quick wit
Her sarcastic comments, comebacks, and overall dramatic demeanor give me LIFE.
6. The status of Lorelai and Luke's relationship
From the preview I linked above, we can easily gauge that yes, they are still associated in some ways--but is it as friends or more? Speaking of Luke, will his daughter, April, make an appearance? Hmm...

7. Paris
Ah, I gotta say I really couldn't stand her character at first for the way she treated Rory, but as the series went on, she grew on me. God knows what kind of powerful leadership position we'll find her in!
8. Kirk
Basket-case but very comedic Kirk. He starts off as being kind of an annoying character, but I think of him as a younger brother that everyone deals with because he's a key member of the Stars Hollow family.
9. Yale and Chilton
Two very primary locations where Rory spent her adolescent and adult years; apparently Chilton will definitely have a focus in the reboot and I'm curious as to why. Will one of the characters be teaching there? Is she invited to be a guest speaker? Class reunion? Time will tell...
10. Pregnancy rumors
I've read a few articles on Facebook detailing that it's very possible either Rory or Lorelai is pregnant! Towards season 7, Lorelai talked about wanting a baby again and Rory is now far enough into her adulthood and possible relationship with Logan that it could definitely be a possibility.
Honestly, there's way more reasons why I'm excited as well as other plot-holes and questions I'm eager to see if this reboot will answer!
If you aren't already aware, the 90 minute episodes spanning in 4 parts are set to hit Netflix November 25th!
Hope you have fun binge-watching your new favorite series. You're welcome. ;)
