Being a mom of any kind (I am sure) is the best feeling in the world. I can not speak for human kids, but I can definitely speak for the fur babies. Pets are family. We surely can't live without them.

10. You are never alone.

It doesn't matter where you are or what you are doing it always becomes attack of the fur. I am usually attacked when I go potty too.

9. They will always have your back.

You are their master. You feed them, play with them, and let them snuggle with you. They will do whatever you want them to.

8. No need to worry about food going to waste.

Food will never go to waste. Sometimes they like to lick your plate or eat your food before you are even done eating yourself.

7. They keep you on your toes.

You just never know what they will do. Everyday is entertaining.

6. You always feel wanted.

Everytime I come home from work 16 legs come running down the stairs to greet me and love me.

5. They always know when you do not feel good or are feeling down in the dumps.

They always know when you feel sad or you don't feel good. Cuddling helps cure it all

4. They find joy in everything.

It doesn't matter what you are doing. Fur babies always seem happy and content.

3. You will always have a second set of eyes.

Eyes eyes eyes everywhere. They watch every move you make.

2. Pets give you something to be thankful for.

All that attention.

1. Unconditional love.

They will always love you no matter what. They don’t judge.

Humans need to learn to be more like animals.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
