We all quarrel over the best and worst Christmas movies when this time of year comes around. So here I am, making my case about why Elf is the best and most relatable Christmas movie ever.

Lets go!

1. Buddy the Elf portrays the child we all are at heart at Christmas time, making him super relatable.

2. The humor within this movie is undeniable and people of any age can see that. While it seems like a goofy child-aimed movie, there is quite a bit of adult humor thrown in to satisfy everyone's giggling needs.

3. Admit it... that spaghetti concoction looks pretty good and its something we've all secretly wanted to try.

4. We all have a crazy list of plans for the holiday season that we may or may not get around to but it's fun to get excited about it.

5. This movie is extremely quotable during the holidays. Or maybe it's just me who whispers "You sit on a throne of lies. You're a fake. You stink. You smell Like beef and cheese, you don't smell like Santa" to myself whenever I see a mall Santa.

6. I can't be the only one who has (or has wanted to) answer every phone call like this. It's so funny!

7.When you meet a fellow Elf lover, you immediately feel like you've found a friend!

8. Come on... Who doesn't just jam out to the Christmas music they have playing in every store, everywhere? I know I do.

9. If there is one thing this movie does well, it's increasing Christmas spirit and teaching you to never give up on Christmas cheer no matter how old, busy or bored you get in life.

10. When the holiday's are over, you react a little bit like how Buddy reacts when he finds out his dad is on the naughty list.

With all of these elements, it is obvious that Elf is the perfect and most amazing christmas movie of all time. So stop what you're doing right now, grab a friend or two, head to the nearest tv and couch and enjoy this movie full of holiday cheer!
