The "Sex and the City" spin-off TV series "The Carrie Diaries" was based on "The Carrie Diaries" books by Candace Bushnell. The TV series brought the book to life as it dove into the past of one TV's favorite female icons, Carrie Bradshaw.
Giving viewers a blast to the past, you see teenage Carrie Bradshaw glammed out in full 80's fashion as she balances school and her first glimpse of life in New York.
