Last week, I wrote an article about the struggles of having thicker than what's considered normal (even though that is a whole another discussion for why that shouldn't be the case for another time and place). I figured it was only right for me to write an article about the struggles of having to wear a bra and what that means. It doesn't matter what size boobs you have, we all understand the problems that occur when you wear a bra. Honestly, the annoyance that comes with some of these problems is so strong that it's a wonder any women don't go crazy.
1. The boob sweat
I swear the sweat that comes from that area is in a league of its own.
2. Taking your sports bra off after working out
I should say "trying" to take your sports bra off after a workout. It is a serious struggle. It's the same ridiculous pain that comes with trying to put on a sports bra after getting out of the shower and still being slightly wet.
3. They're so expensive
It's just fabric so what's the big deal?
4. "The quadra-boob"
When you've hit that point in your cup size where your boobs just aren't fitting correctly anymore and now looks like you have two sets rather than just the one. The sad part is this usually happens with a bra that you could've sworn fit like a glove yesterday.
5. The pain and marks that come with having your bra on for so long and on so tight.
But you can't just loosen the straps or your boobs will start doing crazy things and your straps slip down to your should constantly.
6. Being stabbed by your underwire
That's cool... It's not like I didn't want to be stabbed all day by a wire that isn't necessarily needed to make a good bra. It's fine honestly being stabbed by seriously sharp metal is EVERY woman's calling
7. Does a real bra size actually exist?
I am being so serious with this one. I can't be the only one who has a bra that is definitely the wrong size, according to the last person who sized you for the dumb things, that is just fine and a bra that is supposed to be your size and fits all wrong.
8. Having to adjust your bra 24/7
Whether this is because you wore a strapless bra, your bra is just constantly sitting weird, or the padding in the bra just won't cooperate, you can never seem to get your bra to sit properly once this starts.
9. That "wonderful" back flab
The wrong day or the wrong bra or even the wrong bra can have you looking very unsightly. And while yes this won't happen on the daily, it happens often enough you just wish you could walk around braless all the time.
10. The sweet, sweet moment when you get to rip the thing off
Finally... freedom! Every woman knows once their bra is off for the night there is a huge probability they aren't leaving their house after that.
