2. When you see the PowerPoint go from “Syllabus” to “Chapter 1” on the first day of class.
3. When your professor tells you to share your name, major, and a fun fact about yourself with the entire class.
4. When you realize that participation and attendance account for 50% of your semester grade.

5. When you see the annoying kid from your class last semester walk into your class.
6. When your professor assigns a partner or group project and you don’t know anyone in the class yet.
7. When the professor ends class early but that one students says, “But there are still 15 minutes left of class!”
8. When you finish your three back-to-back-to-back classes and can finally take a lunch break.
9. When you’re sitting in your last class before the weekend.
10. When you have to spend all your summer savings on textbooks that you will probably only use once during the entire semester.
11. When your professor tries clarifying something but just makes the whole class more confused.
12. When you find out that the exams in your class won't be cumulative.
13. When your friend gives you access to homework answers or old exams.
14. When someone tries getting answers from you on the semester's first assignment and you're just not having it.
15. When you realize that it's only the beginning of the semester and there are still over three months until break.
