"P.S. I Love You" by The Beatles (1963)

"As I write this letter, Send my love to you, Remember that I'll always, Be in love with you, Treasure these few words till we're together, Keep all my love forever, P.S. I love you"

"Ain't No Mountain High Enough" by Tammi Terrell (1967)

"Remember the day I set you free, I told you you could always count on me darling, From that day on, I made a vow,, I'll be there when you want me, Someway, somehow, Oh baby there ain't no mountain high enough, Ain't no valley low enough,, Ain't no river wide enough, To keep me from getting to you babe"

"Brown Eyed Girl" by Van Morrison (1967)

"Whatever happened, To Tuesday and so slow, Going down to the old mine with a, Transistor radio., Standing in the sunlight laughing, Hide behind a rainbow's wall, Slipping and a-sliding, All along the waterfall, With you, my brown-eyed girl, You, my brown-eyed girl.

"You're My Best Friend" by Queen (1975)

"Ooh you're the best friend that I ever had, I've been with you such a long time, You're my sunshine and I want you to know, That my feelings are true, I really love you, Oh you're my best friend"

"Open Arms" by Journey (1981)

"So now I come to you with open arms, Nothing to hide, believe what I say, So here I am, with open arms, Hoping you'll see what your love means to me, Open arms"

"(Everything I Do) I Do It For You" by Bryan Adams (1991)

"Don't tell me, it's not worth tryin' for, You can't tell me, it's not worth dyin' for, You know it's true, Everything I do, I do it for you, Look into your heart, you will find, There's nothin' there to hide, Take me as I am, take my life, I would give it all, I would sacrifice"

"One Boy, One Girl" by Collin Raye (1995)

"One boy, one girl, two hearts beating wildly, To put it mildly it was love at first sight, He smiled, she smiled, and they knew right away, This was the day they'd waited for all their lives, And for a moment the whole world revolved, Around one boy and one girl"

"From This Moment On" by Shania Twain (1997)

"From this moment I have been blessed, I live only for your happiness, And for your love I'd give my last breath, From this moment on, I give my hand to you with all my heart, I can't wait to live my life with you, I can't wait to start, You and I will never be apart, My dreams came true because of you"

"It's Your Love" by Tim McGraw (1997)

"Oh, it's a beautiful thing, Don't think I can keep it all in, I've just gotta let you know, What it is that won't let me go, It's your love, It just does something to me, It sends a shock right through me, I can't get enough, And if you wonder, About the spell I'm under, Oh it's your love"

"Fallin'" by Alicia Keys (2001)

"I keep on fallin', In and out of love, With you, Sometimes I love ya, Sometimes you make me blue, Sometimes I feel good, At times I feel used, Lovin' you darlin', Makes me so confused"

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
