Bob's Burgers is one of my favorite shows. I could watch it over and over again and I would never get tired of it. However, there are many things I noticed about the show that are really useful to real-life situations. Not only do I relate to every one of the Belcher's personality wise, I also relate to some of the things they say and the lessons that they teach. Here are 15 life lessons that the Belcher's from Bobs Burgers have taught me.

1. Never give up on your dreams.

The Bob's Burgers restaurant had three different re-openings because of all the problems that it had. Rat problem? Let's try again. Fire? Build it back up. Broken windows? Let's get them fist pronto! After three tries, they were able to open again, and if that isn't perseverance, I don't know what it.

2. Be whoever you want to be.

Gene doesn't let anyone tell him who or what to be. Instead, he tells people who HE is and doesn't care what they think about it. When it comes to being yourself, be a Gene (well not exactly Gene, but have the attitude of Gene...you get the idea).

3. Be confident.

Is there really more I need to say? Be like Tina. Be a smart, strong, sensual woman (or man). Also, even though she is the most awkward character, she is probably one of the most confident!

4. Live life with no regrets.

You should live your life with no regrets. Whenever you do something, you should be doing it for yourself and sometimes others. Some of the Belcher's live their life with no regrets (like Gene and Louise) and are some of the happiest characters and people!

5. Eat the cake.

Don't be afraid to eat the cake, ice-cream, pizza, etc. If you're trying to eat healthy and live a healthy life, that's awesome, but don't restrict yourself from the stuff you want. If you go to a wedding and you're on a diet, but there's wedding cake, have some cake! It won't kill you. Be like Linda, even though she was dieting, she still ate the cake, because she earned it!

6.Your parents know everything

Even though you don't want to admit it, your parents are ALWAYS right. Something they said is scientifically wrong? They're still right. They don't know how to do math? They're still right. They made a prediction that wasn't true at all? They are still, you guessed it, RIGHT. It can get really annoying when you're the kid and your parent are always right, but at the end of the day, you both love each other! Which, your parent is also right about.

7. Dance like no one is watching.

Never feel like you can't dance, sing, or do whatever you love. Whether that be alone or in public, always feel like you can do what you love. For example, dance like no ones watching is both a simile AND realistic. You can use that as doing whatever you love in front of whenever or ACTUALLY dance like no one is watching. Do what you want and do what you love!

8.Stick up for yourself.

Don't let people step all over you! Instead, stick up for yourself! Now, that doesn't mean you should get violent by any means, but simply if someone starts to bully you or do something that you don't approve of, then speak up! Be heard and let people know how you feel. If something makes you uncomfortable or you just want something to stop, don't be afraid to let that person know what's up.

9.Do unto others...

You know the saying "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you?" Well, the Belcher's taught me that too! I see it as more than just a religious piece of scripture. I see it as a true lesson that you can take into your life and use in every situation. In this gif, that quote becomes true! The Belcher's may be dysfunctional, but they are kind to one another (sometimes) and also others (sometimes... in their own way).

10.ALWAYS say I love you.

I feel like this is the MOST important life lesson Bob's Burgers has taught me. Always, always, ALWAYS say I love you. Whether it's to family, friends, wine, or even a toilet, always make sure that the people you care about in your life know that you love them!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
