Or it's never a bad idea to have a stormtrooper in your house.

4. You may hate the nicknames your friends will give you, but embrace them.

5. Your friends will throw you into uncomfortable situations, especially when it comes to meeting potential people to date.

6. There are some friends that you’ll meet that will change your life forever.

7. Love is not about giving up.

8. Nothing good happens after 2 a.m.

9. If it’s meant to be, it will be.

10. You shouldn't go looking for love, love is supposed to find you.

Ted is constantly searching for the love of his life so he can get married. After eight out of nine seasons, Ted is still searching and isn't even close to being married. He lets love find him, and that, kids, is how he met The Mother.
