Reality. Let's admit it. Sometimes, all we want is a break from reality. So what do we do? We watch movies and read books in hopes that we'll become engulfed in a world that's much different than our own. There's truly something magical about getting whisked away while we view these other worlds. Here, I have just a few fictional places that we all wish existed.
1. Hogwarts
Still waiting on my letter, Hogwarts. It's about ten years overdue but that's fine. I'll keep waiting...
2. Narnia
With how today's presidential elections are going, I would be more willing to put a lion in charge as well.
Also, where do I sign up to be Mr. Beaver's BFF?
3. Wonderland
Whether you enjoy the cartoon or live action version of "Alice in Wonderland," Wonderland has always been a desirable place to visit for many people. But beware, curiosity often leads to trouble in Wonderland.
4. Neverland
It's no wonder that Neverland is on this list. Here, you never have to grow up, which means no bills, responsibilities, or other adult things that no one wants to think about. Not to mention, there's pirates, mermaids, and Indians. With a bunch like that, you'll never run out of adventurous stories to tell!
5. Oz
Besides the wicked witch part, who doesn't want to visit Oz? I'll be the first to volunteer to go for a walk down the yellow brick road!
6. Whoville
This is any Christmas lover's dream. In this town, you can show as much Christmas spirit as you like, and not be judged for it at all. Also, it would be pretty fun to befriend the Grinch. Maybe we could jazzercise together!
7. Endor
Although we wish we could visit every planet in the Star Wars universe, Endor is easily one of the top. After we arrive on board the Millennium Falcon, we could go form an alliance with the Ewoks. I mean, admit it. They're adorable.
8. Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory
All you can eat chocolate. Need I say more?
9. Central Perk
How great would it be to hang out with the Friends crew and hear about all their day to day drama.
Don't mind me, just sippin' my tea...
10. Halloweentown
Imagine getting to roam in a place where it's normal to pass ghosts, vampires, werewolves, goblins, and all other sorts of creatures,on the streets. For any one who loves the Halloween season, this place is for you.
I personally just want a taxi ride with Benny.
Well, there you have it, folks! Here are just a few fictional places that we all wish we could visit in real life. Until then, our movies and books will have to do!
