It’s no secret that I’m a dog person. I “ooh” and “ahh” at every pup I pass on the street, and can easily spend hours online looking at videos and photos of dogs. I also follow a bunch of dogs on Instagram, and maybe it’s my trying to compensate for missing my own dog back home, but I can’t seem to get enough.

And why should I? With so much going on in the world, it’s nice to fill my Insta feed with these furry faces, and if you’re also a dog fan, you should, too. These 10 Instagram dogs are guaranteed to brighten up your day, and you need to follow them immediately.

1. Samson (@samsonthedood)

Samson the Goldendoodle is a Brooklyn, N.Y., resident with a reddish-apricot-colored coat and a whole lot of personality. His photos show him in oh-so relatable poses and let viewers keep up with his busy city life.

2. Norbert (@norbertthedog)

Norbert may be tiny in size, but he has the biggest heart. This 3-lb. therapy dog volunteers at the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, and has been feature in magazines, on TV and in his very own book.

3. Maple (@maple.the.pup)

According to her Instagram bio, Maple is a Border Collie/Golden Retriever/Sheltie mix rescue dog. She’s got killer puppy dog eyes, but what makes her so special is her love for music. To really see her in action, check out her dad’s Instagram account @acoustictrench, where you can find Maple curling up next to the guitar or playing the kick drum to the beat – you’ll have to see it to believe it.

4. Simba (@simba.thesamoyed)

Simba, almost 2 years old, hails from Sydney, Australia. His “pawrents,” created the Instagram account when he was only nine weeks old, according to his website, and if there is one thing you can take away from his pictures, it’s that he’s one big fluffy cuddler.

5. The Dogist (@thedogist)

So this account may not be for one dog in particular, but it’s essentially the “Humans of New York” for dogs. With 2.9 million followers, this account features new dogs daily, and each photo has a caption to help viewers get to know the pooch.

6. Mosey Mirsalehi Stibbe (@moseymirsalehi)

I came across Mosey because I am a big fan of his mom, fashion blogger Negin Mirsalehi. She got Mosey, an Australian Labradoodle, in April 2017, and from his white snout to his playful personality, he is just precious.

7. Doug The Pug (@itsdougthepug)

With his 3 million followers, good chance you’ve heard of the legendary Doug The Pug before. Hardly camera shy, this pup looks stylish in all his photos, and is bound to make followers crack up.

8. Marnie (@marniethedog)

Marnie may be an old lady, but she is still young at heart. This 16-year-old Shih Tzu was adopted from a shelter at 11 years old, her Instagram bio says, and really lives life to the fullest. As you’ll see, her extra long tongue that constantly hangs out of the side of her mouth makes her unmistakable and so very cute.

9. Wally (@wallythewelshcorgi)

For all you diehard corgi fans out there – and I know there are plenty – this account is for you. Try to find a picture of him where he’s not looking happy as can be. I dare you.

10. Tonkey (@bearcoat_tonkey)

Bear-Coat Shar-Pei Tonkey really lives up to her breed because, you guessed it, she looks a LOT like a bear. Her wrinkly face and bright eyes will completely melt your heart, and make you want to get a bear-coat Shar-Pei to snuggle with yourself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
