Luke Bryan, Sam Hunt, Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley, repeat. There are very few things on a car trip that are worse than hearing the same twelve songs the radio seems to play on repeat for five hours. They say country music is all about love, trucks, dogs, and mamas and sometimes that just isn't enough, but there is a lot of country music out there that is crazy underrated. So the next time you hop in the car for a long road trip or are looking for some country music that isn't replayed until it pukes check these cool cats out.

1. Aaron Watson

So this guy made the top of the list for three reasons. One- I am in love with all things Aaron Watson, Two- his music is the kind that you could listen to for hours and somehow not hate him, Three- I'm pretty convinced he can do no wrong. So go check him out here or look the man up on YouTube.

2. Cody Johnson

Not really sure why Cody Johnson hasn't blown the top off of the country music world yet but keep your eye out because he will someday. Until then let him sing straight into your soul and rock your world. I've seen him live and he is by far worth every penny and more probably.

3. Devin Dawson

Devin Dawson is a little different sounding than the others that made this list; he sounds much more contemporary but it is a lot of fun to sing to.

4. Mike Ryan

Those of you that like Chris Stapleton will love Mike Ryan. There is something about him that makes everything he does stick in your head. For example, his song "New Hometown" is SO catchy.

5. Kacey Musgraves

The first girl to grace the list of underrated country musicians and she is well deserving. You might remember her song a few years back "Merry Go Round" but everything about this women screams "Hey I am here to tell it as it is and probably break your heart in the process." Check her out here, she is well worth the time.

6. Josh Abbot Band

These guys are a hoot and a half. Start the party with Josh Abbot Band or make someone fall in love with you; it doesn't really matter. One of my personal favorites is "Oh Tonight" featuring our home girl from above Kacey Musgraves.

7. Casey Donahew

A real party starter. Without a doubt one of the more energetic of the bunch. Worth a look, here.

8. Logan Mize

A Kansas Native! He is as phenomenal live as he is over the speakers- and it is all unbelievable. He is one that you can watch for over the mainstream radio someday soon! Check him out!

9. Cody Jinks

He has that deep drawl that sucks you in and traps your attention and before long you've listened to his entire album because it is just that smooth.

10. Jon Pardi

Can't finish the list without a Pardi. His music is that kind of music that you really just don't want to stop listening to. If you are in it for a good time- look him up.
