October is officially here and fall has begun. That means it is time for all of the best things of fall to appear. From Starbucks drinks to sweaters, there are so many great things about fall. The cold weather, the pumpkins, and even the leaves changing color. There are so many great things about fall, but here are some of my personal favorites:

1. Starbucks Caramel Apple Spice Latte's

I am a sucker when it comes to a caramel apple spice latte. It always reminds me of drinking an apple pie and I mean who doesn't want that. Plus it's apple, so you can't go wrong there.

2. Cold Weather

I don't know about you, but I love the cold weather and especially being in Arizona -- the temperature drop is greatly welcomed. Plus, who doesn't love being able to cuddle up in a blanket with a nice cup of tea or coffee, sitting in front of a fire and watching a holiday movie.

3. Sweaters

Sweaters are some of my favorite things to wear and I always look forward to see what new sweaters are out for the fall season. I mean there are just so many great things about sweaters; from warmth to comfortability, you can wear them with almost anything.

4. Halloween

From costumes to candy, and even carving pumpkins, Halloween is such a fun time of the year. All of the candy and decorations are always so much fun.

5. Changing Leaves

Even though we are in Arizona, and the leaves don't really change because there aren't a lot of them, it is still a really beautiful and an amazing part of fall. It is such a breathtaking thing that the leaves can go through a color changing process -- plus they are just fun to run through.

6. Fall Candles

Bath and Body Works is one of the best places to go for fall candles. They always have such amazing scents and good prices, but no matter where you go being able to light that fall candles that makes your house just smell like fall is amazing.

7. Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is such a wonderful time that can be spent with family and friends. Being able to have a nice day with your family filled with love and food. It is just such a great part of the fall season.

8. Pumpkins

From pumpkin patches to carving pumpkins, there are just so many different uses for pumpkins. Whether you decorate them to make them look cute, or carve them to make them look scary, or even just use them as decor -- fall is the season for pumpkins.

9. Anything Pumpkin themed

As I said, Fall is the season for pumpkins and not just the pumpkins themselves. It ranges anywhere from pumpkin pie to pumpkin coffees and from pumpkin scones to pumpkin coffee creamer. There are so many different uses for pumpkin in fall foods.

10. Fall Decorations

Decorating is such a fun thing to do for any occasion, but being able to decorate for fall is one of the best times to decorate. With all of the warm colors that are centered around fall, it can make any room so homely -- plus you can't go wrong with a good fall wreath.

Enjoy the Fall Season!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
