Country music has always made me feel the happiest and most understood.

Whether it’s jamming about going hunting, fishing and loving every day or wanting to tell the person I love how I feel about them, there hasn’t been a moment that I haven’t wanted to express through country music.

Summer is a time to be carefree and relaxed so here are 10 songs you need to blast in your car with the windows down this summer to dance to until the late hours of the night:

1. House Party- Sam Hunt

This song, no matter how you’re feeling, will make you want to throw a house party and dance with your best friends all night long.

2. Gonna Know We Were Here- Jason Aldean

Embracing teen spirit, this rock-country song inspires its listeners to do something that will make a good story later and make a couple mistakes along the way. “We only get one chance around”, and it’s not slowing down so we better make the most out of it by blasting this song by Jason Aldean.

3. Body Like A Backroad- Sam Hunt

Doing 15 in a 30 is the epitome of summer, right? You’re not in a rush and it becomes about enjoying being stress-free for a summer or at the very least, a song. Let Sam Hunt sing away your worries for a song where you drive down a backroad you know like the back of your hand just for the heck of it.

4. Yeah Boy- Kelsea Ballerini

This song enraptures all of the emotions of first summer love and embraces the crazy thoughts the flit through a girl’s mind experiencing it all for the first time. By playing it cool, to wanting to spend all of their time together, all a girl will want to do is take a ride with the boy of their dreams to this song.

5. Every Little Thing- Russell Dickerson

Nothing will make you want to roll your windows and sing as loud as you can to a song like this one. From the twang in the background to the catchy lyrics, you will find it harder and harder to resist dancing to this song with the windows rolled all the way down and the summer air twisting through your hair.

6. Yours If You Want It- Rascal Flatts

Feeling like listening to a mix of old and new? Yours if You Want It, blends old-school Rascal Flatts with new and can bring your spirits up the more you listen to it until you’re smiling, cruising down a street, not glancing back, singing your heart out.

7. In Case You Didn’t Know- Brett Young

Not being able to tell the one you love how you really feel? Blast this song for them so that Brett Young can sing it for you and truly express what that special person means to you. Communication is key after all.

8. Last Time for Everything- Brad Paisley

The anthem for any graduating high school students, enjoy the last time for everything and remember the memories you’ve made over the years. Play this at your graduation party, enjoy as you are driving to move-in day at your college, reminisce on all of the great times you’ve had as you face your future because there is a last time for everything so enjoy it while it lasts.

9. Craving You- Thomas Rhett ft. Maren Morris

Besides having a badass music video, Thomas Rhett once again kills it with his new single with Maren Morris that will make it easy for you to dance and sing along to in the car. Belt out the chorus and don’t give a damn who hears you because you’re craving that someone special.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
