President Obama's farewell address was nothing short of tremendously emotional and the Trump administration will be ushered into the White House on Friday, January 20. He has been the president for all of my teenage life, serving his terms as I was growing up and finally understanding the American political system. Whenever I think "president," I think Obama - in my mind, the two are connected by the hip. Watching Obama say goodbye was heartbreaking and surreal.

But, what really brought people to tears was his tribute to Vice President Joe Biden. In his speech, Obama said that through his nomination of Biden as his vice president, he "gained a brother."
