In the mood to feel like the amazing and empowered goddess that you are? Look no further! I've put together a playlist that will put you on top of the world in no time. The songs by women are meant to inspire while the songs by men will make you feel desired -- the perfect combination!

1. Sleazy - Ke$ha

Ke$ha made it clear that it takes a lot more than money to impress her with this song, and made girls realize they should have the same attitude back in 2010. This song will always give me a "bad bitch" mentality.

2. Pusher Love Girl - Justin Timberlake

Swoon. JT is the best at sweet-talking with his music, and this song is no exception. Comparing the high he gets from a woman to the high people get from drugs takes his usual sweet-talking to a new level.

3. Wind It Up - Gwen Stefani

This song may seem like it has some sort of underlying meaning, but it's just about guys admiring girls dancing. Total adoration from men? Check.

4. Fancy (feat. Charli XCX) - Iggy Azalea

I know people hate Iggy, but this song is still a jam. Every woman should always think to herself, "You should want a bad bitch like this."

5. Franz Ferdinand - No You Girls

Franz Ferdinand lays it down in this song and explains just how confused and turned on women can make men feel. Hell yes.

6. Fergalicious - Fergie

This song is the epitome of female empowerment. Fergie knows she's hot and she owns it, but that doesn't mean men can take advantage of that.

7. Sexy Silk - Jessie J

Jessie J owns her sexuality in this song and makes it sound totally bad ass. She also sings about teasing someone else, which can always be fun.

8. My Body - Young the Giant

This song might not actually be about a guy not being able to get enough of a woman, but the chorus is still fun to totally rock out to.

9. I Wanna Be Yours - Arctic Monkeys

This song actually *is* inspired by how much a guy wants to be with a woman, and the weird lyrics work perfectly with the slow rock melody to bring the band's point across.

10. Electric Feel - MGMT

MGMT band describes a goddess-like woman in this song, and even though it's probably actually about some sort of acid trip. It's still a great tune.

11. How to Be a Heart breaker - Marina and the Diamonds

If anyone ever wanted to become a heart breaker, they would really only need to follow the rules that the lyrics in this song list. (And if you like this song then you should definitely check out the rest of the album that it's on.)

12. Cola - Lana Del Rey

A lot of Lana's songs have to do with being totally dependent on a guy, but this one refreshingly isn't. Also, Lana is a queen so one of her tunes naturally needed to be featured on this.

13. Dance With Me - Ra Ra Riot

Wes Miles croons about wanting to be a woman's "toy" in this song and I'm totally here for it. It's almost impossible *not* to bust a move when hearing this one.

14. You Don't Own Me - Lesley Gore

Grace and G-Eazy recently came out with a remake of this song, but Ms. Gore deserves some credit. She was a bad bitch long before that term was ever invented, and this song proves that.

15. Run the World (Girls) - Beyoncé

And to finally top the playlist off, I've added a song from Queen B herself. No song is more empowering than this one, ladies.

Happy listening, readers!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
