March 11-13 Zeta Tau Alpha hosted their spring philanthropy “3 Day for ZTA” to raise money for breast cancer education and awareness. The week consisted of a flag football tournament, a “paint the campus pink” day, a percentage night and a talent show.
The flag football tournament was 7v7 and there was a bracket for both sororities and fraternities. The winning sorority was Delta Zeta and the winning fraternity was Sigma Phi Epsilon. The second day, “paint the campus pink” day, was a time to raise breast cancer awareness and have all participants wear pink on campus. The more pink, the more points! Also that night was a percentage night at Jason’s Deli. The last day was the talent show where each participating sorority or fraternity had to put together a five minute talent to be judged by the ZTA seniors. Participants will be judged on originality, appearance, audience response, and overall performance. After all the points throughout the week were tallied, the top two winning fraternities were Alpha Gamma Rho and Beta Upsilon Chi and the winning sorority was Alpha Chi Omega. These chapters will all have a megamixer to celebrate their victories and to celebrate the amount raised for breast cancer education and awareness.
