So, you had a great night out. You and your friends hit the bars, and maybe you even stopped by a party or two (or three). You are laughing and catching up with people, and the next thing you know, you have downed just one too many drinks. At this point, a lot of people start gulping down water or eating, but it's too late. The inevitable is coming: a hangover. This is an accurate depiction of how you feel the morning after, as told by "The Office."
1. When you first wake up, and your body is waging a war inside your stomach.
The moment you wake up, you realize that last night was a grave mistake. It's too late to fix it now.
2. The moment that you realize you need to somehow manage to get out of bed.
3. As soon as you stand up for the first time.
For most people, it's the minute that they stand up that they realize just how badly they feel. The worst moment of any hangover is the moment you actually start to move, and everything you did last night comes back to haunt you.
4. When you try eating something.
Breakfast? Nope. Brunch? Yeah, right. Anything solid? Forget it. All you can do is drink water and hope that it stays down.
5. When a few hours pass, and you're still sick.
We all experience those lingering hangovers that seem to last all day. There's nothing we can do to escape them, and every few hours we have a little internal temper tantrum because we are still sick as dogs.
6. The face you make when you complain to your friend, and your friend says "I don't get hangovers."
There's always that one friend who can drink whatever they want and get away with it. We secretly hate that friend.
7. Finally, when you start to feel better:
Hours after you wake up, the hangover starts to fade. Eventually it disappears and you are simply exhausted and cranky, but no longer fighting your body to keep food in your stomach.
There you have it. Your hangover, as told by "The Office."
