You Are Responsible For You

In life, there is one thing for certain that you are responsible for and that is yourself. Every decision that you make no matter the circumstances you are responsible for.

In life, you are responsible for you. No matter the circumstance every choice you make in life you are responsible for, no matter the situation or influence. In life, circumstances may influence your choices, thoughts, direction, and actions, but at the end of the day, YOU chose to do such.

You are responsible for your happiness. Nobody else is responsible for your happiness and if you are waiting around for someone to make you happy then you will never be happy. You are the conductor of your life, you are powerful enough to do whatever it takes to make you happy.

If you want others to love you in a specific way then that is how you should love yourself. People see the way that you treat yourself and that is how they will treat you. You are responsible for who you attract and allow into your life. So don't settle because when life hits the fan, you are the only one to blame when things go wrong.

Your mind feeds off of your thoughts. So your mood throughout the day is a reflection of your thoughts. So if you think positively then your mood will be a reflection of that same if you were to think negatively. You are responsible for your feelings. So whenever you are having a bad remind yourself that you have the power to change that.

Kelly Rutherford said “You choose your thoughts, your perception, and your reaction to external forces. You possess all the tools needed to expand your awareness, to orchestrate the evolution to your consciousness, to choose happiness, to choose love. You are that POWERFUL “

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
