Saint Laurent Spring 2018 show showcased multiple thigh high yeti boots the colors including black, blue, and white. They show off wispy fringe and a sky-high heel, the movement of them on the runway was all the talk after the show. Anthony Vaccarello who has been head of Saint Laurent for three seasons takes a special liking to avant-garde footwear. He made people crazy over the YSL logo heel and now has made an even better shoe.

Unconventional shoes have been taking over the runway since Balenciaga Triple S (chunky dad shoes) and platform crocs were a thing. Most of these shoes are considered too eccentric for streetwear.

These yeti boots look like they are here to stay, Rihanna was already supporting the yeti boots days after the show. While most people have to wait for the 2018 Spring Collection…Rihanna is an exception. She is the queen of streetwear and in these boots it furthers the statement. Prepare to see the yeti boot take over the streets…when available to everyone.

The yeti boot is available in a color that ironically resembles the abominable snowman.
