What I Learned From "Wonder"

What I Learned From "Wonder"

I cried during "Wonder". At least 5 different times. I smiled a lot more than I cried though. And if you have yet to see the movie, you've got to see it. But just in case you need some more motivation to go watch it - keep reading.

"Wonder" reminded me of how wonderful the world is. Earth is coffee, and mornings, and waking up in the morning. Earth is friends and family and even our beloved pets.

"Wonder" reminded me that we're all made up of our own intertwined stories. We're all affected by each other and our actions are what matter the most.

"Wonder" reminded me of the importance of a family's selfless love and teamwork. A family that wholeheartedly lives to love each other and sacrifice for each other is necessary to achieve any major accomplishment successfully.

"Wonder" reminded me to be kind. All each of us wants is for other humans to be kind to us. Stare if you want, but then acknowledge the human you're staring at and just be kind.
