Winter is approaching! In case you get stuck doing nothing on a winter day, here is a list of 15 things to do!

1. Go for a winter hike

Bundle up, head out into the cold weather, and explore what is out there.

2. Go snowboarding


It's never too late to learn!

3. Go sledding


You are never too old for sledding, especially with good friends.

4. Make a snow fort


Why not make it a competition on your block to see who can build the biggest fort?

5. Go skiing

Either downhill or cross country, both are fun!

6. Have a bonfire to stay warm


Add some friends to the mix and you've got yourself a fun and cozy night!

7. Have a snowball fight

Again, you are never too old to have some fun in the snow!

8. Build a snowman


Don't forget the cute carrot nose!

9. Build an igloo

There isn't a cooler snow fort than an Igloo.

10. Go ice skating


Even if you "can't "skate, it's still fun to try!

11. Drink apple cider

If you aren't a coffee or hot cocoa fan, this is the warm drink for you.

12. Drink hot cocoa


Nothing is better than a hot cup of cocoa when you come in from the cold outdoors.

13. Listen to some Christmas tunes

Dance around the house to some classic, "Jingle Bells!"

14. Decorate your house for Christmas

A favorite time of the holidays.

15. Go look at the local Christmas light displays

Grab your family or some friends and jump into the car and drive around and admire all of the beautiful light displays your town has to offer.
