As #NationalDrinkWineDay is upon us, it's time us girls knowledge the true MVP of our lives. Someone who has never let us down and is always there for us through the highest of highs and lowest of lows (granted you have a 21+ ID).

There are many Rieslings - I mean reasons - why wine is every girl's greatest and truest companion. In fact, all these here probably don't do it nearly as much justice.

1. Wine will always be there for you

2. Wine will never talk bad about you behind your back

3. Wine will never get butt hurt when you don't speak to it for a couple of says

4. In fact, wine even gets better with age

5. Wine is always ready to make your night better

6. Wine is always down for a wild night out or a quiet night in

7. Wine is always there for you to pour your feelings out too

8. Wine is a great conversation starter

9. Wine is the perfect way to relax after a stressful day

10. Or to celebrate a great day

11. Or to just just relaxing in the bath tub

12. Or sneaking it to a family function to get the edge off

13. Or just treating yourself

14. It's just great for any occasion

15. When its gone you can use the bottle or corks for fun Pinterest DIY projects

16. It's the perfect gift to give any one, from a casual acquaintance to your best friend

17. Wine won't judge you for staying in for every Bachelor Night Mondays and TGIT nights on ABC

18. It actually gladly joins you for any

19. Wine can be enjoyed alone or with friends

20. It pairs well with everything

21. Wineries are the most aesthetically pleasing places on this earth

22. It's made from grapes, aka a fruit, so technically its healthy for you

23. Studies have even said a glass of red wine is equal to one hour at the gym

24. If you ever run out, you can always just get more
