If you’re thinking about dipping into your favorite beauty supply store (and I'm not talking Sally’s) for a beautiful wig, here are some tips and tricks to keep you looking fly on the fly.

1. PIN IT DOWN!

Because let me tell you, you do not want to be skipping down the street and have a rush of wind send it flying through the sky like a fluffy Pom Pom. Bobby pins are your friend!

2. BRUSH BRUSH BRUSH!

It is so so so easy for your wig to start looking like a Brillo pad. Brushing it on a daily basis is so very important!

3. I know you may think you don’t have to wash it, but please, wash it.

Just like your hair, wigs get dirty, oily, greasy, and in some cases, linty. Wash it so that it’s comfortable and unnoticeable.

4. if someone asks to touch it...

...just say no.

5. Enjoy it!

You can change your look at the drop of a hat, go crazy, be happy, be wild, colorful, and free!
