"Parks and Rec" may be the greatest show to ever grace our TV screens. It's laugh out loud funny, sweet in all the right way and, in a word: iconic. And one of the greatest things the show gave us is the character of Ron Swanson.

See I'm not kidding when I say that Ron Swanson is actually me. He loves to eat steak, he says what he thinks and he loves silence. What else is there really? Every time I watch the show, I wholly relate to Ron. Here are just a few of the ways how.

1. He's a realist.

2. He understands the important things in life.

3. He gets to the point.

4. He values alone time.

5. And most of all, he loves America.
