While there's a lot of awe surrounding the Kardashian-Jenner clan in this day and age, there's also a lot of hatred towards them. They're one of the most famous families in the modern world, but many are unaware as to why they're famous, and how they're famous, individually. Personally, the one I idolize the most is Kylie Jenner. That girl simply works it.

1. Her entire life has been documented, and she's handled it gracefully.

Kylie was only 10 years old when the first episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians aired. I don't know about you, but I can't imagine being a young teenager and having my whole life portrayed on TV. Yet, she's only thrived from it.

2. She's BEAUTIFUL.

Say what you want about the plastic surgery she's undergone; she's gorgeous. Her body is rockin' and her face is simply perfect. A beauty icon undoubtedly.

3. She is a wonderful mother to Stormi.

Kylie and Travis sure made a beautiful baby! Kylie and I are similar in the way that we've always dreamed of being mothers; we both know it is our true calling in this life. Even with all she has, she always puts being Stormi's mom first.

4. Her relationship with Travis Scott is #goals.

Whether or not you're a fan of Travis Scott, you have to admit that he loves Kylie so flawlessly. Besides the fact that they're an absolutely iconic couple, he is so sweet and loving to both her and Stormi.

5. She's unbelievably confident in herself.

I mean, rightfully so! It's no secret that the Kardashian-Jenner clan consists of some of the most gorgeous women in the world. I can't imagine how difficult it is to constantly be scrutinized by the media and compared to your sisters, but Kylie deals with it effortlessly. She's her own person, through and through. Her last name just helps.

6. She's a self-made billionaire.

Well, almost a billionaire. She built a $900 million dollar fortune for herself in less than three years. At only 21-years-old, she's on track to be the world's youngest billionaire. Impressive, huh?

7. Despite the spotlight, she's responsible.

At the young age of 21, she certainly has a lot to juggle. Kylie's got her own house, her own business, her own clothing line with her sister, a daughter, her relationship with Travis, her family, her friends, her fame, etc. Being famous and living the celebrity life certainly seems appealing, but it comes along with a lot of work and stress.

8. She's a significant influencer when it comes to fashion and beauty.

As stated previously, Kylie has her own clothing line with her sister, Kendall + Kylie, as well as her own makeup line, Kylie Cosmetics. Kylie's made quite the impact on the beauty industry, and that doesn't just happen overnight.

9. She's worked ridiculously hard to be where she is today.

Her makeup line is constantly evolving. What started out as exclusively lip kits, has evolved into eyeliner, bronzer, blush, and everything in between. Call her a beauty connoisseur, she's certainly made a lot of cash doing so! Sure, she's got the connections and finances to grant her opportunities, but what's really contributed to her successes is her passion and drive.

10. She has the second most-liked picture on Instagram.

Screw you, World Record Egg!

All in all, she's taken the cards she's been dealt and made her life into something wonderful and all her own. Not only that, but she's created a beautiful life for Stormi. It's Kylie's world, and we're all just living in it.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
