Why You Should Listen To Music

It’s music to my ears.

Hi, welcome back to another one of my articles. Thank you for coming back. This week I'm dedicating to music. Shocker, right?

I’ve said before music is something that I always come back to, no matter the genre. Frankly, I’m down to listen to anything and everything. I love the way you can connect to the lyrics to any song whether it’s just a line or the whole entire song.

Music can help you through the dark times and be there through the good times. There’s a song for every mood and for every situation. Music is anything and everything that you make it to be. You can interpret any song to be what you want it to be and that’s what I like most about it.

For me music has been something I’ve loved and I’ve come to realize that it doesn’t matter what the song is. If the beat is great then I can get down with it.

I’ve gone through phases just like any other person. My biggest one was when I listened to just country music. I know there’s a bunch of people that are gonna think that’s dumb but I did. One of the many reasons is because my siblings and I bond over it. As I got older I started listening to more and more different music.

Now I listen to everything that I can get my hands on. I’ve broadened my music taste and it’s something that I’m glad I’ve done. I've found songs that I absolutely love and I never would’ve listened to them years ago.

So I guess the point of this article is that all music is great and just because you think it’s crappy don’t just blow it off because you never know you might find a song that you actually like.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
