Unlike all of my friends, who are seamlessly tied to another human being, I have chosen the single life. It hasn't been a day without the usual, "I could totally set you up" or "Don't worry, you have time." I know I have time, which is why I am enjoying my life as a single woman. The entire world screams that we should be in a relationship, but they are all missing out. Don't believe me? Here are 12 reasons why being single is the best decision you can make.

Ever been in the middle of a really good Netflix series, and the only thing standing in your way is the constant vibrations coming from your phone? You might like your significant other, but are they really worth holding your binge back? Being single means you have Netflix without interruption!

Without a bae, you've got bucks to spare! With no date nights, birthdays, and anniversaries, you have money to buy important things, like sweatpants and donuts.

Why clean your room when you know you don't have to bring anyone home. You have free reign to leave clothes lying around or pile the plates in your car. Being single means you can be a slob with no judgment!

Eat whatever, whenever, and however you want. There is no stopping you from eating a whole pizza on a late Friday night. Go ham on that pint of ice cream because you can in the single life.

No-shave November? More like no shave, not ever. Let those legs grow wild, no one needs to see them. You've got more important things to do than shave every day.

No more petty fights and misunderstandings. If I had a nickel for every fight I got in with my significant other that I actually cared about, I would have a penny. None of them matter, or frankly make sense.

You never have to get to know their terrible friends. We've all been there, the creepy guys, the obnoxious girls, you can skip the process of faking a relationship with these people when you are unattached.

You can flirt guilt free and whenever you feel like it. Be young and be wild because now is your chance! Relationships can tie you down.

Regardless of whether you are in a relationship or single, you should try to find a balance between enjoying yourself and other people. Honestly, I don't know why someone would pass up these benefits. I mean, who doesn't want a whole pizza in a messy bed with a chick flick playing in the background?
