Who is L-Boogie?

A phrase that has been mentioned a great deal since he graduated from Georgian Court University last May. Lindon "L-Boogie" Lulgjuraj is an up and coming rapper from New Jersey, who has made a name for himself via two mixtapes, with his most recent one entitled "Less is More". But who is L-Boogie? During his time at Georgian Court University, he was an athlete and a student. A good student at that, but what many did not know was that he was a talented musician as well.

When people at Georgian Court mention his name, a few freshmen and transfers always start with "who is that" well he is a friend to many, an old teammate to a few, but to most he was the kid who recorded a whole mixtape in his dorm room, which at the time everyone will agree was "fire". That mixtape was entitled "Open Gym" alluding not only to the fact that he was a basketball player but also to the fact that in an open gym a ballplayer uses it as a stage to showcase his/her skills, in which he definitely did showcase his skills as a rapper on that mixtape.

But after leaving Georgian Court with a few great hits such as the memorable introduction to the mixtape "I Got Next" to the slow jam that brought you back to the time of loving someone who did not truly deserve you "Only One". Early this past August, he released a brand new mixtape entitled "Less is More" which honestly holds true to its name. This mixtape had fewer songs than the previous. But this mixtape definitely harboured a great deal of weight. Heavy hitting songs that people could truly enjoy, that was not weighed down with the ignorance that music of today's generation thoroughly enjoys. Two songs that are definitely a must listen to are "Juice" and "Uber to Reality". these two songs themselves have beats that an individual can vibe to but also harbours lyrics that an individual can relate to in some sense.

L-Boogie knows, although he is fairly new to the game, what it takes to make music that has substance and meaning, all while having hard beats that you want to constantly listen and bob your head to. And that is truly what music should be about. Too many times do we listen to music on the radio that has simple and repetitive hooks such as "That's my best friend, that's my best friend" or "Panda, Panda, Panda."

It seems as though musicians, in particular, rappers, no longer want to make music that has substances, and those that do go underrated and underappreciated. For example, J.Cole a rapper who went double platinum with no features. L-Boogie is a breath of fresh air with music that individuals can relate to. He is a musician who is just like you and I. he just has a dream of trying to get big to support his family, as well as himself.

He went to school, played a sport, he was probably a classmate of yours at one time. But if you want to listen to something that doesn't have a lot, but definitely has a great deal of substance be sure to click here to listen to both mixtapes because trust and believe they are worth the time.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
