Skins is a British Teen Drama that lasted seven seasons and was broken into three generations. Each generation consisted of a group of teenagers attending sixth forum in Bristol, South West England. Each generation had two seasons, one death, and covered many issues such as mental illness, eating disorders, sexuality, and substance abuse. Each actor on the show had completed little to no acting before their hit roles on Skins!

Here is what the stars of Skins are doing now!

Nicholas Hoult

Nicholas Hoult is apart of the first generation of Skins. Hoult played Tony Stonem, a central character on Skins. Stonem is an antagonist of the first season and a protagonist in the second season. Stonem is popular, good-looking, and smart. The character is obsessed with having power over others and he tends to control his loved ones through manipulation or sexual encounters. Stonem, however, has a soft side for his little sister, Effy Stonem, who makes an appearance in five seasons of the show.

Once Nicholas Hoult parted ways with the TV series, he immediately blew up and has been in multiple films since.

X-Men

Hoult has a reoccurring role in the X-Men series as Hank McCoy also known as "Beast." The X-Men series is still in process as Hoult has been in four including one that is in post-production. Hoult even met his longtime ex-girlfriend, Jennifer Lawrence onset of the X-Men movies.

Warm Bodies

Hoult starred in Warm Bodies as a zombie named "R." The American film is categorized as a paranormal romantic zombie comedy. Hoult's character struggles to "feel alive" post-zombie apocalypse until he meets and protects Julie, a young woman sent on a mission to find medical supplies.

Mad Max: Fury Road

Hoult played one of the main characters in the 2015 remake of Mad Max. Hoult's character is known as "Nux," as he is a hard nut to crack. The critically and publically acclaimed movie became a knockout role for the actor especially as he acted alongside Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron.

Jack O'Connell

Jack O'Connell is a lead role in the third, fourth, and seventh seasons of Skins. O'Connell's character, James Cook is apart of the second generation of characters. Cook is an impulsive and outgoing individual that does not come from much. His promiscuous and violent behavior tends to get him in trouble and affect those around him. Although O'Connell's character is known to be the life of the party, Cook struggles emotionally throughout the series.

Post Skins, O'Connell has been doing really well for himself and has landed multiple lead roles in both Britain and America!

Starred Up

Starred Up is a 2013 British Crime Drama. O'Connell stars as the lead role, Eric Love. This role is an intense one as the movie is full of action and O'Connell's character is ruthless. The Hollywood Reporter's Todd McCarthy stated, "Young actor Jack O'Connell is the main attraction in this tough British drama. O'Connell would seem to have live wires running through his whole body and it should be very interesting to follow his career from here on."

Unbroken

In Unbroken, Jack O'Connell played Louie Zamperini, a US prisoner of war in World War 2 and an Olympic distance runner. The film is directed by Angelina Jolie and it is a must see as O'Connell represents Zamperini to a T.

Money Monster

Actress Kaya Scodelario had no prior acting experience when she began the role of Effy at age 14. Stonem began as a smaller character primarily known as Tony's sister to a femme fatale. Effy is a greatly romanticized character that shows signs of depression and isolation throughout the show as she struggles to accept love, her at home life is faltering, and she isolates herself including a time period of becoming mute.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
