Taylor storms quickly out of the house noticing her best friend, Camille, waiting in the car for her. A smile beams across her face as she nears the car and hears music escaping from the window.

"Get in!" Camille demands loudly.

"I'm coming," Taylor explains as she climbs into the car, "You know I love this song, Cam!"

They both begin to sing, "Baby are you down down down down down, down, down? Even if the sky is falling down down down."

Camille begins to take off and drive while the music blasts from the stereo. Taylor's arm is hanging out the window, swaying to the sound of the music at peace.

They both continue, "So baby don't worry, you are my only. You won't be lonely, even if the sky is falling down," they sing.

Taylor's smile spreads as she glances at Camille and they begin to sway. The sunset starts to peak into the rearview mirror causing warmth to swim across their backs. Taylor has waited all week for this time with her best friend, to unwind and have some quality girl time.

The girls laugh as their singing grows louder as if they are the only souls driving on the road. Without thought, they shout at the top of their lungs every word from the song.

Camille starts a little dance while she drives carefully down the street and her eyes radiate while she sways.

They have been doing this for years and years of their friendship. It's so natural for them to do this and joy automatically floods in their heart.

Neither of them stops to look at their phone for this moment because it's rare and it needs to be released and experienced to the fullest. For minutes until their destination, it's almost as if time simply stops.

Camille taps onto the steering wheel as Taylor smiles wide at her. This moment is what she will remember this night while out to dinner. It's what she looks forward to when they head back home for the evening.

Taylor wishes to savor this moment as they take their time to finish the rest of the song out of breath but full of excitement.

Camille pulls into the parking lot and finds a spot. She then motions her hand as a microphone to Taylor, "I'm fighting for this girl on a battlefield of love, don't it look like baby cupid sendin' arrows from above. Don't you ever leave the side of me? Indefinitely, not probably and honestly I'm down like the economy, yeah." Taylor raps.

"So baby don't worry, you are my only. You won't be lonely, even if the sky is falling down. You'll be my only, no need to worry. Baby are you down down down down down, down, down

Baby are you down down down down down, down, down? Even if the sky is falling down." They end in complete laughter.

Their hearts were pounding loudly in their ears and the air remains still as the moment seems to last forever.

This is what it feels like to be alive at the moment. With no worry, with no one looking, two people singing off-key at the top of their lungs and connecting with one another. A moment blurred with laughter and that leaves your face hurting in a good way. A moment where you feel alive and present.

The positive energy stays with those girls for the rest of their night as they discuss their stressful week over dinner.

The next day, they get to experience such a moment again on the way to get coffee and each time the moment is perfect.

Have you ever experienced a perfect moment?

female tv characters
We Heart It

Over the past decade, television has undergone a very crucial transition: the incorporation of female lead characters. Since it's a known fact that girls actually do run the world (Beyonce said so herself), it's time for the leading ladies of the small screen to get some credit. Without these characters, women would still be sitting in the background of our favorite shows. These women are not only trailblazers for female empowerment, but role models for women worldwide. With that, here are 15 of the smartest, sassiest ladies gracing our screens that remind us that women do, indeed, rule:

If you are like me, you have an interesting personality. Basically, you love to be sassy and snarky, gossip, and act like a total bitch (not really), but deep down, you are actually a very genuinely nice person. The idea of actually hurting someone truly makes you feel bad, and you probably have never actually hurt someone’s feelings because your kindness always shines through, even if you do not want it to. Not sure exactly what I would call this type of personality, but if you identify with it, here are some feelings you can undoubtedly relate to.
