If you have a relationship with your sister like I do, she will be by far the greatest friend you’ve had. You spend every day with each other and even though after a while you get annoyed, you would never want it any different. In my case of being the youngest, I could never imagine my life without her and her instantly being my role model. This is what made the split of me going to college so hard. I never realized how many things that would change and things I would miss; here are 19,for the 19 years we have been sisters, that I have personally experienced.

1. You will lose your #1 supporter always being by your side

2. They become the main person you FaceTime

3.Your sister is living her life and a part of you actually gets jealous

4.You will lose the privilege of having a permanent passenger in your car

5.No hug will be like your sister’s

6. You lose a strong shoulder to cry on

7. You can no longer go see your sister whenever you want

8. You no longer have clothes to “barrow” or have stolen from you.

9. You actually begin to miss matching

10. Both of you begin to realize stuff that you would normally do together is not the same anymore

11. No one will ever have your back like your sister does

12. Your sister no longer seems to be your second mother

13. You realize no one truly understands you like your sister does

14. Weekends home being to revolve around when your sister is off for the weekend

15. No one but your sister truly knows your family and why you act the way you do

16.You now have to take on the world by yourself because your biggest defender is gone

17. You will miss your big sis always letting you have what she has out of love

18. No one tells you how hard the goodbye is

19. You learn just how strong sisterly love and a sisterly bond really is

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
