To all the girls and all the women,
Years ago, I wrote the song “Save That Pillow” in the middle of the night in a hotel room. I wrote the entire song in one sitting, recorded it and put the EP out. While on tour, I met women of all ages telling me they were in a place where they needed to hear "Save That Pillow."
The song was made to instill motivation and self-worth, to remind girls that they shouldn't give themselves away to anyone who didn't appreciate their worth. I felt like my intentions for the song were heading in the right direction.
After witnessing the tiny movement, I thought we needed to make a community that would serve as a token reminder that girls should value themselves to a higher standard. The pillows would be a reminder that they deserve someone who makes them feel valuable and special.
Today, I’m happy to announce the launch of the Save That Pillow Campaign. Together we can spread love and exemplify self-value. We can exemplify strength; we can show the world that we understand our value and we won’t take anything less than what we are worth.
With Love,
Caitlin Crosby
