We all know it. We all watched it.

Yes, I am talking about The Royal Wedding of Prince Harry to Meghan Markle.

I mean...where do I even begin?

This was a dream as a wedding planner to get up bright and early and watch. The flowers. The attire. THE DRESS. BOTH OF THEM! I had friends asking me if I was up watching and what I thought. Well, I'm here to tell you that, yes, I was up early, and, oh heck yeah, I was watching, and, oh heck yeah, it was literal hashtag wedding goals!

So what did I love so much?

Okay, first off, let's just take a pause to realize how adorable and in love these two are.

Literal goals, am I right?

As we wedding planner my absolute favorite thing is the way a couple looks at each other. The way they never break eye contact. The way they say "I love you" without even saying a word. Seeing two people so entranced with each other makes my heart smile.

So, for these two, their sweet looks and smiles got me the whole time.

And, of course, there's this one...

From having Prince Charles walk her down the aisle, so the love in each other's eyes, you'd think that would be enough to win this wedding planner over. Of course, it was, but I did not stop falling in love with this wedding there.

Which brings me to the cellist...

Not only did he play 'Ave Maria' with such grace and poise, but did y'all see that P-E-R-F-E-C-T floral wall he was behind?

Like seriously, did you see it?

GOALS.

I can't go on without mentioning Meghan's mom. Watching her watch her daughter become America's Royal story was enough to make me go through a box of tissues.

Seriously, simply amazing and touching.

And, what would the Royal Wedding have been if it weren't for Bishop Michael Curry and his amazing sermon. I truly cannot think of a more heartfelt and lovely sermon than his. Not only did he touch that wedding that day, but he touched us all.

Now what kind of wedding planner and writer would I be if I did not mention those sweet little ones that were a part of this historical day.

Let's not forget all of our favorite....

Last, but not least. The way Posh Spice and Daddy Beckham looked like they were fresh from arguing, and it has given us all something to talk about.

"Did you watch the Royal Wedding?"

"Oh yes, her dress was amazing!"

"Yes it was."

"....but did you see Victoria and David Beckham...yikes."

It was definitely a wedding that will be remembered and talked about for a long time to come. Harry and Meghan are so inspirational with their love, and I think we will be seeing a lot of Royal Wedding inspired ideas included in the future weddings to come.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
